Our client is a leading manufacturer and distributor of several well-known brands specifically crawler, tower and mobile cranes for the heavy construction and mining industry. They are a well-regarded business with International backing.
About the position:
As a result of continued growth an opportunity has become available for an experienced Service Technician. You will be working with machinery that has the best and latest technology and parts available in Australia.
About the position:
This role is reporting to the Service Manager and responsible in cranes repair, troubleshooting and maintenance related jobs.
Provide service-related assistance by way of phone support.
Attend field breakdowns and repair cranes in a timely manner.
Maintain service reports and submit these in a timely manner upon completion of repair.
Provide feedback on component failure.
Train distributors in the commissioning of the first current product.
Analyse and troubleshoot warranty problems
Investigate and resolve customer reports and work towards eliminating future operational or service difficulties.
Perform other ad-hoc duties as assigned.
About you
Technical expertise in Hydraulic, Electrical or Mechanical
Trade Qualification in Heavy Vehicle, Mechanical or Engineering
Current Driver's License
Excellent diagnostic skills
Knowledge and experience with Hybrid vehicles are an advantage.
Knowledge and experience with the auto electrics of vehicles is an advantage.
