Executive – Financial Control

As a key member of the Financial Control team, you will support the delivery of end‑to‑end financial control for Macquarie’s Banking and Financial Services business, covering Personal Banking, Business Banking, Payments & Deposits and Wealth.

Role Overview
You will be responsible for the business balance sheet and profit and loss activities including General Ledger close activities and the accuracy of financial reporting. You will understand key controls and judgements, provide technical accounting support for new business initiatives, and help implement and monitor the financial control framework.
Qualifications
- Tertiary degree in accounting or similar and CA/CPA qualified
- Experience within a financial control position
- Strong stakeholder engagement skills
- Previous experience in financial services is valuable
- Technical accounting expertise and/or the ability to work with large operationally complex environment will be highly considered
