Job Title: Employment Consultant

Join us as an Employment Consultant to support individuals in preparing for and securing sustainable employment.

This role offers the opportunity to make a lasting impact by creating opportunities, breaking barriers, and helping individuals thrive.

* You will build strong relationships with job seekers, understand their goals, barriers, and aspirations, and develop tailored plans to guide them toward sustainable employment.
* You will conduct regular face-to-face appointments to monitor progress, provide motivation, and connect participants with relevant training, short courses, and employment preparation support.
* You will proactively engage employers through active cold calling and networking to uncover hidden job opportunities, promote candidate strengths, and negotiate placements, trials, or wage subsidies.
* You will collaborate with internal teams to match job seekers with suitable vacancies, ensuring a smooth transition into employment and celebrating milestones to build confidence.
* You will deliver quality service whilst adhering to all contractual and compliance requirements.


Key Responsibilities:

1. Build trust-based relationships with job seekers to identify their needs and create personalized employment plans.
2. Conduct regular meetings to track progress, provide encouragement, and connect participants with relevant resources and services.
3. Promote candidates' strengths and skills to potential employers, negotiating job opportunities and supporting participants throughout the hiring process.
4. Collaborate with colleagues to match job seekers with suitable job openings, ensuring a seamless transition into employment and celebrating success along the way.
5. Maintain accurate records, manage compliance, and report on program outcomes in accordance with established guidelines and standards.

To be considered:

* Eligibility to work in Australia.
* A current driver's license and comprehensively insured vehicle.
* A MyGovID (Standard level).
* Willingsness to undergo a National Police Check.
* Able to pass a Working with Children Check.
* Availability to work full-time Monday to Friday, 8:30am - 5:00pm.
