TRS Resourcing is seeking a trade-qualified Mechanical Fitter / Service Technician on behalf of our client to join their Hallam-based team in a full-time capacity. This role is ideal for a motivated, high-character technician with a strong work ethic and a positive, solutions-focused attitude. You'll be part of a committed team working across industrial steam and hot water boiler maintenance, servicing, and support for a well-established and expanding customer base.

Key Responsibilities
* Programmed maintenance on industrial steam/hot water boilers and associated mechanical systems (piping, valves, controls, components)
* Onsite servicing, maintenance, and repairs across Victoria
* Workshop repairs, overhauls, and fabrication from the Hallam facility
* Valve and piping system repairs and reconditioning
* Testing, troubleshooting, and fault-finding on steam/hot water and related systems
* Completing service reports, customer records, and documentation accurately
About You
We're seeking a professional and reliable tradesperson who takes pride in delivering high-quality craftsmanship and exceptional customer service. You will ideally bring:
* Mechanical trade qualification (essential)
* A professional, organised, and process-driven approach
* Strong attention to detail and customer-first mindset
* Clear written and verbal communication skills
* Ability to work autonomously and within a team
* Current Victorian driver's licence and reliable transport
* Flexibility to work overtime and varied schedules when required
Highly Regarded
* Background in service technician or maintenance roles
* Welding and fabrication capability
* Confident computer and technology skills
* Local to Hallam (within 30km preferred)
* HVAC/boiler industry exposure or strong interest in developing within this field
