Job Summary:
We are seeking a skilled Electrical Fabricator/Welder to join our team. As an Electrical Fabricator/Welder, you will play a crucial role in installing structural components that support critical electrical infrastructure.
You will be responsible for fabricating and installing cable ladder systems and supports to engineering specifications and Australian Standards. This includes interpreting technical drawings, blueprints, and schematics accurately, performing structural and general metal fabrication for electrical and mechanical systems, welding to a high standard using MIG, TIG, and stick processes, and conducting quality inspections to ensure alignment, dimensions, and weld integrity.
Main Responsibilities:
* Fabricate and install cable ladder systems and supports according to engineering specifications.
* Interpret technical drawings, blueprints, and schematics accurately to ensure accurate installation.
* Perform structural and general metal fabrication for electrical and mechanical systems.
* Weld to a high standard using MIG, TIG, and stick processes.
* Conduct quality inspections to ensure alignment, dimensions, and weld integrity.
Requirements:
* Certificate III in Engineering – Fabrication Trade (Boilermaking/Welding) or equivalent qualification.
* A minimum of 2-3 years' experience in a mining or heavy industrial construction environment.
* Proven experience with cable ladder systems and interpreting detailed technical drawings.
* Current Working at Heights and Confined Space tickets.
* Construction Induction Card (White Card).
