The Role:
Deftec are currently seeking an Electrical Engineer to join our expanding design team.
Answering to the Senior Electrical Engineer you will be responsible for the following:
Preparing tenders and proposals
Travel to remote sites for scoping and execution of electrical works, as well as troubleshooting
Provide technical guidance and leadership on-site, ensuring adherence to safety protocols, regulations, and project specifications.
Preparing electrical schematics, general arrangements and certification drawings
Auditing electrical equipment to relevant electrical standards
Assisting customers with technical inquires
Working with electricians and other disciplines in our workshop and customers’ site
The following qualifications are required:
Electrical Engineering degree from a University recognised by Engineers Australia
QLD Drivers License
Live local to the Mackay region or be willing to relocate
