About the Opportunity
We are seeking a motivated individual to join our team as a Graduate Mechanical Engineer or Draftsperson.

You will gain hands-on experience across the full lifecycle of system design – from concept and modelling through to commissioning and support.
This newly created position offers exposure to a diverse range of engineering projects, giving you the opportunity to develop in-demand skills in hydraulic system design, 3D modelling, structural engineering, and automation integration.
You will assist in developing practical solutions for customer requirements, ensuring projects are delivered to the highest standard of safety, performance, and innovation.
* Develop concepts and practical engineering solutions
* 3D model purpose-built machines and systems incorporating hydraulics, pneumatics, automation, and structural components
* Conduct 3D scanning for reverse engineering
* Draft and simulate hydraulic schematics
* Perform calculations, engineering analysis, and product selection
* Provide technical support to clients and internal teams (Sales, Service, Production)
* Assist in commissioning and troubleshooting of new and existing systems, locally and interstate
* Prepare documentation, reports, procedures, and operation manuals
* Participate in hazard risk assessments and root cause failure analysis
This role requires:
* Experience in Mechanical Engineering, Mechatronics, Electrical Engineering, or Drafting/Design (TAFE or University)
* Working knowledge of 3D CAD software (preferably Autodesk Inventor or similar), including FEA modules
* Strong attention to detail and commitment to accuracy
* Excellent communication and teamwork skills
* A proactive attitude with a willingness to learn and grow within a supportive team
