The opportunity:
We have an exceptional opportunity for a skilled and motivated Finance & HR Officer to provide vital support across both Finance and HR functions. This role offers a rare opportunity to work within a creative and purpose-driven organisation while enjoying the flexibility of part-time employment.
Key responsibilities:
* Act as the first point of contact for staff queries across Finance and HR
* Assist with payroll, accounts payable, accounts receivable, and budget support.
* Provide HR administration support including recruitment, onboarding, and compliance.
* Maintain accurate financial and personnel records using systems such as Xero and Deputy.
* Provide general administrative support to the Operations Manager (P&C) and Head of Finance.
About you:
We're looking for a proactive and detail-oriented professional with:
* A minimum of 2 years' experience in a finance or payroll function is essential (with accounts payable and receivable exposure).
* Experience in HR administration or a keen interest to expand into this area.
* Strong organisational skills, accuracy, and confidentiality.
* Confidence using finance and HR systems (Xero experience highly regarded).
* Competent with MS Suite including EXCEL
* Excellent verbal and written communication skills
* Committed to equity, diversity, and professionalism
* Willing to obtain a Working with Childrens Check (WWCC) if successful
