Job Title: Migration Case Manager
Job Description:
The Federal Circuit and Family Court of Australia is seeking a skilled and experienced professional to join our team as a Migration Case Manager. As a key member of our staff, you will play a crucial role in providing highly effective case management support to Judges, Judicial Registrars, and their staff.
Responsibilities include:
* Triage migration applications upon filing for compliance with rules of the Court, correct use of court forms, and assessment of urgency;
* Respond to frontline enquiries from Court users, Judicial Registrars, and chambers;
* Provide accurate migration-related procedural advice when interpreting rules and regulations of the Court;
* Conduct efficient administrative case management of migration court listings, including corresponding with parties and managing courtroom requirements;
* Assess documentation for completeness and compliance with Court rules and ensure prescribed forms are used;
* Update information on the Court's case management systems and National Pseudonym Register, maintaining high accuracy in data entry on migration matters;
* Provide high-level case management support to Judges and Judicial Registrars;
* Generate invoices for migration matters, ensuring correct fees are paid and that all hearing fees are correctly applied and invoiced;
* Process all migration documents and applications filed in the Court;
* Interact with and provide support to migration litigants and practitioners;
* Assist in the preparation of template responses and knowledge management;
* Other duties as directed.
