The Role
We are looking for experienced APS5 Quality Officers to join our national quality and assurance team. You will undertake analytical work, quality reviews, and apply legislation, policy, and guidance to assess decision-making and operational practices.
Working under limited supervision, you will contribute to improving consistency, compliance, and decision-making quality through structured reviews, analysis, and clear written feedback.
Key Responsibilities
* Conduct quality assurance and quality control reviews
* Assess legislative, policy, and process compliance
* Provide evidence-based written commentary and recommendations
* Record review outcomes accurately in relevant systems
* Identify risks and escalate issues appropriately
* Contribute to continuous improvement initiatives
* Support team members through knowledge sharing and mentoring
* Manage workflow requests and competing priorities effectively
What We're Looking For
* Experience in quality assurance, auditing, or review activities
* Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
* Clear and concise written communication skills
* Ability to interpret and apply legislation, policy, and procedural guidance
* Confidence to work independently while contributing to a collaborative team
* Strong attention to detail and sound judgement
Experience in government, regulatory, disability, or human services environments is highly regarded, as is familiarity with large case management or CRM systems
