Product and Underwriting Analyst – Insurance - Adelaide

Responsibilities
* Provide underwriting and product guidance to Claims and Sales teams, acting as a subject matter expert.
* Support RAA Insurance's product and underwriting strategy by managing policy, regulatory, and compliance changes.
* Uphold RAA insurance's policies, procedures, and regulatory standards, proactively identifying potential risks to contribute to safety, accountability, and continuous quality improvement while ensuring compliance and strategic alignment.
* Review and update insurance product content across formats such as PDS, guidelines, and communications.
* Propose and implement underwriting process improvements to boost efficiency, risk management, and accuracy.
About You
* Proven experience in business analysis and/or business process analysis and implementation. Alternatively experience as a Case Manager, Claims Consultant or relevant experience. Strong General Insurance background and knowledge of insurance products, services, and industry best practices.
* Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to manage competing priorities.
* Able to analyse complex data sets and clearly communicate complex technical subject matter to both technical and nontechnical audiences.
* Deep understanding of insurance regulations, including the General Insurance Code of Practice, dispute resolution, and relevant legislation, with the ability to accurately interpret and apply them.
* A passion for leveraging emerging technologies to stay ahead in a fast-changing digital world.
