As part of our global expansion, we are strengthening our Risk Management function to monitor trading behavior, control toxic flow, and protect company liquidity and profitability.
We are seeking an experienced Risk Team Leader with prior brokerage industry experience to lead trading surveillance and risk monitoring activities.
Key Responsibilities
1. Trading Risk Monitoring
* Monitor client trading behavior and identify abnormal, high-risk, or potentially abusive trading activities.
* Identify highly profitable accounts and analyze whether profits are generated through legitimate trading or toxic flow strategies.
* Toxic Flow & Abuse Detection
* Detect latency arbitrage, price manipulation, cross-platform hedging, scalping abuse, bonus abuse, and other unfair trading behaviors.
* Work with Trading and Tech teams to implement execution controls, trade filters, and restrictions when required.
* Profitability & Flow Analysis
* Analyze B-book and A-book client flow and profitability.
* Evaluate toxic flow impact on company PnL and risk exposure.
* Assist in A/B book allocation and hybrid execution strategies.
* Risk Policy & SOP Development
* Develop and improve risk monitoring frameworks, SOPs, and escalation procedures.
* Ensure risk actions comply with internal policies and regulatory requirements.
* Team Leadership
* Lead and mentor junior risk analysts.
* Allocate tasks, review cases, and ensure daily monitoring operations run smoothly.
* Cross-Department Collaboration
* Coordinate with Trading, Compliance, Tech, Finance, and Sales teams on risk cases.
* Provide risk insights and recommendations to management.
* Reporting
* Prepare daily/weekly/monthly risk reports, including flagged accounts, trading behavior analysis, and exposure metrics.
* Recommend account actions such as restriction, migration to A-book, or closure.
Minimum Requirements
* Minimum 3 years of experience in Forex/CFD brokerage risk or liquidity provider (LP), trading, dealing, or surveillance roles.
* Proven experience identifying toxic trading accounts, including arbitrage and abusive strategies.
* Strong understanding of A-book, B-book, and hybrid execution models.
* Experience with MT4/MT5 risk tools, dealer plugins, bridge systems, or risk dashboards.
* Strong analytical and data interpretation skills.
* Fluent in English (Mandarin is a strong plus).
* Candidates without prior Forex/CFD broker industry experience will not be considered. Salary is negotiable depending on experience.
