Description:
Marsh is seeking an experienced senior broker with a strong background in account management within Property and Casualty to join our Corporate team. This role will be based in Hobart. This is a hybrid role that has a requirement of working at least three days a week in the office.
Principal Broker – Corporate & Commercial
This role will provide exposure to leading and participating in the designing and placement of complex insurance programs whilst also engaging in new business tenders and proposals and building a network of opportunities.
We will count on you to:
* Lead, plan, and implement effective renewal and broking strategies, drawing on a network of specialist support from within the business, to ensure strong account retention and defence.
* Develop, pursue, and convert new business opportunities to grow our corporate portfolio through new logos and organic expansion.
* On-board new clients and deliver on Marsh’s value proposition with high-quality service.
* Build and maintain meaningful senior-level relationships with insurers and key revenue-generating accounts.
* Actively participate in claim-related matters and track new business opportunities.
What you need to have:
* 7+ years of corporate broking experience in Property and Casualty.
* Proven track record of producing new business and managing complex insurance programs.
* Extensive knowledge of risks and insurance products across key industry sectors.
* Strong market presence within General Insurance.
