Knightsbridge Furniture is a Tasmanian-owned manufacturer specialising in high-quality upholstery and custom furniture. We are expanding our production team and are looking for a dedicated Sewer / Commercial Seamstress to join us.
Whether you're an experienced machinist or someone with strong practical skills looking to learn a new trade, we'd love to hear from you.
About the Role
In this position, you'll work within our upholstery and production team to create precision-sewn components for furniture pieces. Tasks may include:
* Operating industrial sewing machines
* Sewing upholstery covers, seams, piping, and fabric components
* Working with leather, fabric, and foam products
* Assisting with pattern cutting and basic upholstery tasks
* Collaborating with the team to ensure quality and consistency
What We're Looking For
You don't need prior commercial experience—we are happy to provide full on‐the‐job training. However, you'll be a great fit if you have:
* The ability to work with your hands
* A positive attitude and willingness to learn
* Reliability and pride in producing quality work
* Experience in sewing (home or commercial) is a bonus but not essential.
