**Workshop Team Leader - Defence: Mentoring and leading a small team in supporting our Australia operations**
This is a fantastic opportunity for an experienced Mechanical Technician who has experience in leading a team and looking to enhance their skills within the valve industry. You would join our team to support and guide them in continuing to provide our clients with the high-quality service they are accustomed to.
Roles and Responsibilities include
- Supervision of staff in all aspects of valves repairs and maintenance services.
- Liaise with external and internal stakeholders.
- Planning and execution of work schedules.
- Ensure compliance with relevant Quality Management Systems.
- Implementation of workshop maintenance and safety schedules.
- Training and development of personnel inclusive of Apprentices.
- Maintaining and installing a high level of HSE compliance.
**Qualifications**:
- Mechanical or Engineering qualification in relevant technical discipline (preferred)
- Completed an engineering apprenticeship (preferred)
Experience
- Minimum five years' experience as a qualified technician or mechanical fitter.
- Supervisory experience in a similar role or industry.
