Role Description
This is a full‑time, on‑site role for a CNC Machinist, located in Sydney, NSW. The CNC Machinist will be responsible for operating and maintaining CNC machines, performing machining and milling tasks, and ensuring high levels of precision and quality in all outputs. Daily responsibilities include setup and configuration of machines, interpreting technical drawings, carrying out quality checks, and collaborating with the team to meet project goals within established timelines.
Qualifications
* Proficiency in CNC machine operation, including setup and maintenance.
* Confident using Heidenhein driver on 3‑Axis and 4‑Axis Milling machines.
* Strong skills in machining and milling operations.
* Experience in conducting quality control inspections and maintaining standards.
* Knowledge of machinery and mechanical systems.
* Attention to detail and the ability to interpret technical drawings and specifications.
* Strong problem‑solving skills and the ability to work in a collaborative environment.
* Relevant trade qualifications or certifications in CNC machining or a related field.
* Prior experience in a manufacturing or engineering setting is an advantage.
