Job Title: Electrical Technician for Machinery Maintenance
We are seeking an experienced electrical technician to join our team as a machinery maintenance professional. The successful candidate will be responsible for maintaining and repairing mechanical plant machinery and equipment, identifying defective electrical components or equipment, and replacing them with new ones.
About the Role:
* Maintain and repair mechanical plant machinery and equipment in accordance with industry standards and regulations.
* Identify and replace defective electrical components or equipment to prevent downtime and ensure optimal performance.
* Carry out routine maintenance tasks such as cleaning, lubricating, and adjusting machinery to ensure smooth operation.
* Work closely with other technicians and engineers to resolve complex technical issues and implement process improvements.
* Ensure compliance with all relevant policies, procedures, and legislative obligations related to health and safety, environment, and quality.
Required Skills and Qualifications:
* Automotive Electrical Trade Certificate or equivalent qualification.
* Minimum 2-3 years of experience in a similar role, preferably in a heavy industry setting.
* Excellent knowledge of electrical systems, including circuit analysis, motor control, and electrical testing.
* Strong problem-solving skills and ability to work independently and as part of a team.
* Good communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to interact effectively with colleagues, supervisors, and clients.
* Ability to work at heights, confined spaces, and in a fast-paced environment.
