Barrington Group Australia is expanding into the Queensland market and is seeking an energetic, driven, and relationship-focused Sales & Compliance Consultant to join our growing team based in Brisbane.
This is an exciting newly created role offering the opportunity to help establish and grow our brand throughout Queensland while working closely with our experienced national team and partner organisations within the registered club industry.
As a trusted industry provider, Barrington Group Australia delivers specialist risk management, AML/CTF, WHS consulting, and training solutions to clubs and hospitality venues across Australia. We are looking for someone who is passionate about client engagement, business development, and compliance outcomes.
About the Role
This diverse role will encompass all sales functions across our suite of products and services, including:
* AML/CTF services
* WHS consulting services
* Training products and programs
* Client relationship management
* Business development across the Queensland market
The successful candidate will also provide compliance consultation services (WHS and AML/CTF) for new and existing Queensland clients, supporting clubs and venues with practical compliance and risk management solutions.
This position requires regular travel and face‐to‐face client engagement, with a strong focus on building long‐term relationships and expanding Barrington Group Australia's presence throughout Queensland.
Key Responsibilities
* Drive sales growth across Barrington Group Australia's service offerings
* Develop and maintain strong client relationships within the registered club industry
* Identify and secure new business opportunities across Queensland
* Deliver compliance consulting support to clients in the WHS and AML/CTF spaces
* Work collaboratively with partner organisations and Head Office teams
* Represent the Barrington Group Australia brand professionally within the market
* Attend trade functions and conferences
* Conduct regular client visits and onsite consultations
About You
* Experience in sales, business development, or account management
* Knowledge or experience within WHS, AM/CTF, risk, training, or compliance environments
* Strong communication and relationship‐building skills
* The ability to work autonomously while remaining connected to a wider support team
* Excellent organisational and time management abilities
* Experience within the club, hospitality, or related industries will be highly regarded
