About the RoleWe are seeking a skilled and reliable Vehicle Spray Painter with aninterest or experience in heavy vehicles (trucks, buses, trailers, ormachinery) to join our growing team. This is a hands‐on role focused ondelivering high-quality paint finishes while maintaining strict safety andenvironmental standards.

Key Responsibilities
* Prepare heavy vehicle surfaces for painting,including sanding, masking, cleaning, and priming
* Remove contaminants such as dirt, grease, and rustto ensure proper coating adhesion
* Mix and match paint colours to achieve accurate andconsistent finishes
* Apply primers, base coats, and clear coats usingspray guns and related equipment
* Ensure smooth, even coverage with high attention todetail
* Inspect completed work and carry out touch-ups orrefinishing as required
* Maintain and clean spray equipment, compressors,and paint booths
* Monitor equipment performance and report any faults
* Accurately complete job documentation, includingpaint specifications and usage
* Comply with all workplace health, safety, andenvironmental requirements
About You
* Trade qualification in Automotive Refinishing orsimilar (highly regarded)
* Experience in spray painting (heavy vehicleexperience advantageous but not essential)
* Strong attention to detail and commitment toquality workmanship
* Ability to work efficiently both independently andwithin a team
* Good communication skills and a positive work ethic
* Understanding of WHS practices and safe handling ofmaterials

* Use appropriate PPE at all times (respirators,gloves, eye protection)
* Report hazards, incidents, and equipment issuespromptly
* Adhere to environmental guidelines for painthandling and disposal
Reporting LineReporting to the Workshop Supervisor / Branch Manager, you will work closelywith a supportive team to ensure efficient workflow and high-quality results.
