The role
Are you a detail-oriented website publisher with a passion for accessible, high-quality content? We're seeking a Content and Website Publisher to play a key role in uplifting and maintaining a newly launched corporate website and supporting digital branding initiatives.
Duration: 4-Month Labour Hire Contract with Extension Option
Hours: Full-time (40 hours per week)
About the Role
As part of the Current Website Project Team, you'll:
- Uplift web content to align with new page designs, ensuring accuracy and accessibility.
- Conduct quality assurance of Microsoft Office 365 templates.
- Publish project updates on the intranet (SharePoint).
- Collaborate with colleagues and clients to understand audience needs and ensure content meets requirements clearly and efficiently.
Key Responsibilities
- Ensure transferred and published content meets WCAG 2.1 standards and Australian Government Style Manual guidelines.
- Maintain meticulous records of transferred and published content.
- Collaborate with stakeholders to implement branding and design systems.
- Remediate PDFs in Adobe Acrobat to ensure accessibility compliance.
- Optimise images for the web using Photoshop (no image creation required).
About You
You'll thrive in this role if you have:
- Proven expertise in Drupal, SharePoint, Adobe Acrobat, and Photoshop.
- High level skills in using templates in the Microsoft 365 operating environment.
- Knowledge of Australian Government online standards (WCAG 2.1) and the Australian Government Style Manual.
- A keen eye for detail, strong teamwork abilities, and the capacity to manage competing priorities with mínimal supervision.
- Australian citizenship.
