Introduction
Are you an established Production Estimating Manager or Estimating Team Leader looking for an opportunity where you can genuinely influence outcomes, develop people and leave your mark on a successful residential building business?
We're exclusively representing a highly respected home builder seeking an experienced estimating leader to take ownership of their Production Estimating function and lead a team of four Production Estimators.
This is not a stepping‐stone management opportunity. The successful candidate will already have a proven track record of leading estimating teams within the residential construction industry and be passionate about developing people, driving performance and improving business outcomes.
If you're looking for a role where you'll be trusted, empowered and supported to make a genuine impact, this could be the opportunity you've been waiting for.
The Company
Our client is an award‐winning, established and highly regarded residential builder with a long‐standing reputation for delivering quality homes and exceptional customer experiences.
Based in the South‐Eastern suburbs of Melbourne and with a total team count of 55 full‐time staff, the business has built a culture centred around teamwork, collaboration and accountability. Leadership is approachable, supportive and invested in the success of their people, creating an environment where ideas are welcomed, contributions are recognised and departments genuinely work together.
This is a company where people enjoy what they do, support one another and take pride in the product they deliver.
The Opportunity
Reporting directly to the Operations Manager, you will take ownership of the Production Estimating department and lead a team of four Production Estimators.
This role sits at the centre of the business and plays a critical role in connecting Estimating, Construction, Operations and Suppliers to ensure projects progress efficiently, accurately and on schedule.
Beyond managing day‐to‐day estimating operations, you'll be responsible for developing your team, driving accountability, improving processes, identifying risks before they arise and creating an environment where people can perform at their best.
The successful candidate will be a hands‐on leader who enjoys mentoring others, building strong stakeholder relationships and continually looking for ways to improve outcomes across the business.
Hours of Operation
Monday to Friday 7.30am to 4.00pm, full‐time working in an entirely office‐based role.
