About the Role

To deliver effective support to the hospitality function within the care home, including catering, cleaning and laundry. Use your fantastic food services and cleaning skills in a role where you really can make a difference by providing our residents with an empathetic and personal approach.

Casual, Permanent, Part‐Time roles available.

About you

Previous catering / food service or cleaning experience preferred but not essential. You will be a team player and someone who enjoys interacting with people and giving back to our most vulnerable.

Duties

• Maintain legislated workplace health and safety, quality and hygiene standards.
• Complete required documentation and reporting.
• Respond to residents' inquiries and requests.
• Laundry duties include loading washers/dryers, sorting linen, hanging, folding, wrapping or ironing linen.
• Catering / food services duties include assisting with basic food prep, providing meals and snacks, clearing dining areas and dishwashing.
• Cleaning duties include general cleaning; mopping, vacuuming, and waste collection in the residents' rooms, bathrooms, communal and living areas.

Skills and Experience

• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Cleaning or catering experience preferred but not essential.
• Flexible availability for a variety of shifts throughout the week.
• Understanding of work health, safety and hygiene practices and ability to work unsupervised.
