Join Siemens and step into a senior leadership role as our State Manager - NSW Service Operations (Buildings), reporting directly to the Head of Service. This is a key leadership position within Siemens Smart Infrastructure, where you will help shape the performance, growth, and customer impact of one of our most critical operational areas in NSW.
Our Buildings Team creates intelligent buildings that adapt to the needs of people and the planet. We deliver integrated technologies and services that make the built environment smarter and more sustainable, partnering with customers across commercial buildings, healthcare, education, data centres, and major infrastructure. Our solutions span Building Management Systems (BMS), HVAC controls, fire and life safety, security, energy optimisation, and end‐to‐end digital and field services, helping customers improve performance, reduce energy use, meet compliance, and achieve sustainability goals across the full asset lifecycle.
This is a high‐impact leadership role where you will take full accountability for the NSW service business, balancing strategic direction with hands‐on operational leadership in a complex, fast‐paced environment.
What You'll Lead Operational & Financial Leadership
* Full accountability for NSW service performance including revenue, margin, utilisation, and working capital
* Lead day‐to‐day operational execution across a diverse service portfolio
* Track service delivery KPIs and implement corrective actions to ensure targets are achieved
* Maintain governance across contracts, SLAs, compliance, and risk
* Act as escalation point for key operational and commercial issues
People & Leadership
* Lead supervisors, technicians, and support teams across NSW
* Build a high‐performance culture focused on accountability and results
* Drive workforce planning, capability development, and succession planning
* Ensure the right resourcing and subcontractor support is in place
Customer & Stakeholder Engagement
* Develop and maintain senior customer relationships across key NSW accounts
* Strengthen partnerships to support retention, renewals, and growth
* Partner with sales and operations to identify opportunities
* Represent Siemens in key customer engagements
Continuous Improvement
* Drive operational improvement and productivity initiatives
* Standardise processes and strengthen reporting discipline
* Embed a strong customer‐focused, safety‐first culture
What You'll Bring
* Senior leadership experience in service operations, facilities management, building services, or technical field environments
* Experience leading large, dispersed teams
* Strong financial and operational management capability (including P&L exposure)
* Ability to work in complex, contract‐based customer environments
* Strong commercial acumen and stakeholder management skills
* Practical, hands‐on leadership style with strong problem‐solving ability
