About Us
BKI is seeking an incredible Diploma of Nursing Teacher to join our Health and Community Centre of Excellence (HACCOE) team at our Bendigo City Campus to teach prospective nurses and inspire the next generation.
We are proud to work, teach and study on the ancestral lands of the Djaara people of Dja Dja Wurrung, the Wurundjeri-Woi Wurrung people, the people of the Yorta Yorta Nation, and the Gunaikurnai People. Many of our roles work with and support staff and students across both Kangan Institute and Bendigo TAFE campuses.

About the Role
You will be working within a collaborative team environment with frequent team building exercises and events for all to enjoy. The team is comprised of industry professionals all cohesively working together to teach aspiring nurses. Our staff bring a wealth of experience and knowledge to educate both face to face and online to help our students grow.

Teachers deliver high quality vocational education, training and competency‐based assessment in specified program(s) in a range of settings including classrooms, workplaces and online environments.
Qualifications
* A Bachelor of Nursing Degree
* A Registered Nurse-AHPRA registration
* Certificate IV in Training and Assessment (TAE40110 or more recent)
* Proficiency in digital teaching methodologies
* Post Grad in Nursing Specialty (desirable)
Experience and Knowledge
* Strong understanding of Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, etc.)
* Understanding of cultural sensitivity and respect for differences
* Ability to identify language, literacy and numeracy issues
* Adapt communication style to suit audience and context
* Ability to build constructive relationships with stakeholders
* Understanding of the concepts and practices underpinning digital and blended learning
* Possession of a current driver's licence where relevant
