We are seeking a talented, passionate Head Chef to join our Kitchen Team at Lakeview Hotel Motel. We value individuals who uphold high operational standards, deliver seamless customer experiences, and foster a culture of performance.

The role involves collaboration with the Venue's Head Chef, Kitchen Team, Group Executive Head Chef, and General Manager Food, providing opportunities for professional growth and industry networking.

Role Purpose

Lead in alignment with Redcape's values to achieve key performance metrics, support the Head Chef in developing a skilled kitchen team, and ensure exceptional customer service.


Key Responsibilities:

* Proven leadership in managing and motivating a kitchen team to ensure efficiency and high standards.
* Strong culinary skills, recipe consistency, and high food quality maintenance.
* Foster a customer-first culture, utilizing feedback for continuous improvement.
* Manage costs, achieve revenue targets, and meet financial goals.
* Ensure compliance with food safety, WHS standards, and legal requirements in kitchen operations.
* Effective team coordination through excellent communication skills.
* Strong time management skills to prioritize tasks during peak periods.
* Develop and train staff, identify skill gaps, and promote professional growth.
* Proactive approach to customer needs and dining experience enhancement.
* Maintain cleanliness, organization, and operational safety standards.
* Flexible availability for prep, lunch, and dinner services across 7 days.


Qualifications

A Certificate III in Commercial Cookery and/or Kitchen Management is required.
