Return to Work Specialist
Our Goal
We aim to facilitate an injured worker's recovery and return to work. Our case managers coordinate, negotiate, and facilitate the process.
Your Responsibilities
* Proactively manage a portfolio of workers' compensation claims to achieve early and sustainable return to work with reasonable claim costs.
* Collaborate with medical professionals, employers, brokers, rehab providers, and other stakeholders to create an effective Return to Work strategy.
* Assist the worker and employer with the claim process, providing support, managing expectations, and ensuring timely access to required services.
* Assess aspects of liability and recovery relevant to legislation or policies while undertaking ongoing reviews in relation to entitlements and payments.
* Respond to escalations and provide coaching and mentoring to other team members.
About You
* Minimum 3 years of experience managing claims within a workers' compensation scheme.
* An empathetic and resilient approach to provide customer-centric support.
* A driven professional with highly developed written and verbal communication skills.
* Careful consideration to detail with a high concern for accuracy.
* Strong stakeholder engagement and management.
* A team player who likes to work collaboratively and can also work independently.
