About the Job
The Nurse Manager will be responsible for overseeing the daily operations of The Fairfield Centre, a new subacute ward designed to cater to the specific care needs of patients living with HIV. You will work closely with the multidisciplinary team to ensure timely and effective delivery of care, while also promoting a culture of respect, support, and compassion.
This fixed-term appointment offers a unique opportunity to contribute to the broader organisational imperatives of the Infectious Diseases program, ensuring excellence in clinical practice and leadership development. You will have the chance to demonstrate your ability to motivate teams, lead by example, and drive quality improvement initiatives.
The successful candidate will possess significant clinical nursing experience, strong leadership skills, and a proven track record of driving positive outcomes in a fast-paced healthcare environment. They will be registered as a Registered Nurse with the Nursing and Midwifery Board of Australia via AHPRA and hold a degree in healthcare or business management.
