About the Role
We are seeking dedicated and compassionate individuals to join us as After Hours Support Workers. This critical role ensures the safety and well-being of young people during nighttime hours by providing high-quality residential care.
Key Responsibilities:
* Create a safe, supportive, and nurturing environment for young people, empowering them to develop independent living skills.
* Evaluate situations promptly and report any concerns that may affect their well-being.
* Support young people in maintaining connections to important people and places in their lives.
This position requires dedication, compassion, and a genuine desire to make a positive difference in the lives of young people.
Requirements:
* Diploma of Youth Work or equivalent qualification.
* Knowledge and understanding of Aboriginal culture and values.
* Demonstrated experience working with children and young people who have experienced significant challenges and trauma.
* Valid Driver's License.
* Satisfactory Criminal History Check.
* Valid Employee Working with Children Check.
* Valid NDIS Workers Screening Check (for client-facing roles).
