The Agentic Tribe is revolutionizing chatbot and voice-assistant technology with Gen3, a cutting-edge AI Agent system that moves beyond scripted interactions to support goal-oriented, dynamic, and truly conversational experiences.
By leveraging a multi-agent architecture and advanced language models, Gen3 can reason, plan, and adapt to user needs in real-time, delivering personalized and engaging user experiences for complex, "off-script" tasks.
What You Will Do (Responsibilities)
Design and test novel AI solutions for real business problems.
Own full research projects end-to-end—from understanding business requirements to design, implementation, experimentation, and reporting.
Regularly discuss ideas with the research team and provide peer review of colleagues' work.
Stay current on NLP and ML literature and introduce new concepts as potential solutions to business challenges.
Collaborate closely with AI engineers to implement designs into production.
Use suitable tools and technologies for rapid prototyping while considering future production requirements.
Work with product managers and other stakeholders to shape the product roadmap.
Who You Are (Qualifications)
Degree in Computer Science, Machine Learning, Statistics, Engineering, Mathematics, or a related field.
Proven record of ML or NLP research, ideally in industry.
Experience building deep-learning neural-network architectures with a focus on NLP.
Ability to translate research literature into proof-of-concept models.
Practical approach to researching ML solutions for business problems.
Bonus: experience with LLMs, Prompt Engineering, and AI Agent context management.
Ideally experience with conversational AI and voice technologies (TTS/STS).
Positive, proactive team player passionate about product discussions and team delivery.
Strong communication skills and fluency in English.
How Do We Measure Success
Alignment of work with the overall product roadmap and strategic goals.
Effectiveness in collaborating with product managers, engineers, designers, and other stakeholders.
Discovery and ideation—identifying new opportunities within the product area and prioritizing and championing those ideas.
The Interview Process
Initial call with Talent Team – 15 minutes.
Interview with one member of the Hiring Team – 45 minutes.
Take-home technical/research challenge.
Technical interview with two of our scientists – 1 hour.
Final interview with a senior executive (CTO or Engineering Manager/Director) – 45 minutes.

Hybrid Work
This role is hybrid, requiring work at our local office part of the week while allowing flexibility to work remotely for the remainder.
