Offer description

Vault Cloud is the national leader of providing highly secure and scalable sovereign cloud capability to the Australian Government, National Intelligence Community and Critical Infrastructure sector. We pioneered the development of Australia's only sovereign, hyperscale cloud with security at its core, being one of the first cloud organisations to be Australian Signals Directorate (ASD) certified and we continue to drive innovation, delivering First of a Kind capability across the sector.

As we continue to lead in technological advancements, Vault is now entering a defining phase of growth with a strategic $22.5 million investment from the National Reconstruction Fund Corporation (NRFC). This investment will scale Vault's SECRET Cloud and introduce new services such as the AUKUS cloud capability, directly addressing Australia's strategic national security demands. Vault is now positioned to not only strengthen its existing relationships with federal and state government agencies, but also strengthen its relationships with private sector businesses requiring secure cloud storage. To support this growth, we are bolstering our capability by adding numerous key roles that are integral to our future success. This is an opportunity to join us at the forefront of a once-in-a-generation technological advancement whilst at the same time securing the nation against ever-increasing threats.

Elevate your career as a Technical Account Manager (Canberra or Sydney). Join our expanding Customer team to serve as a trusted, strategic partner, empowering Vault's customers and partners to maximise the value of our sovereign cloud services. You will move beyond solving immediate problems to guiding critical organisations through their strategic cloud journey, influencing the future of our service improvements, and directly shaping the secure technology landscape for Australia's most vital sectors. This is not a maintenance role—it's a launchpad for ambitious customer success professionals ready to step into a strategic advisory position.

You will be responsible for:

* Becoming a Trusted Partner: Serve as the primary technical liaison, fostering deep, long-term relationships to ensure high-value adoption and success with Vault's sovereign cloud services, translating customer vision into technical reality.
* Driving and Influencing Service Satisfaction: Act as the critical interface between our high-value customers and Vault's Operations team. You will not only communicate complex technical updates but also translate customer feedback into actionable insights, directly influencing our product roadmap and continuous service improvement.
* Leading Through Criticality: Proactively manage service delivery and coordinate strong communication and information flows during incidents, demonstrating ownership and driving outcomes that secure customer satisfaction and retention for Australia's most vital sectors.
* Shaping the Future Landscape: Work with our Solution Architects to advise customers on cloud best practices and technical roadmaps, while serving as a compelling internal advocate to drive product enhancements and next‐generation service offerings.

To be successful you will be able to demonstrate:

* Proven Relationship Management: Success in establishing and maintaining multiple strong, influential relationships across both executive business and technical stakeholders.
* Cross-Team Collaboration: Demonstrated ability to drive coordination across complex, cross-functional teams, acting as a force multiplier.
* Technical Acumen: Good knowledge and application of scaling customer configurations using dedicated or cloud-based technology.
* Exceptional Communication: Outstanding interpersonal, written, and verbal skills with the ability to communicate complex technical concepts and strategic ideas to diverse audiences.
* Foundational understanding of Linux and cloud technologies
* Bachelor degree in Computer Science (or related degree and experience).
* Australian citizenship is required to gain relevant security clearance.

What's in it for you?

* Be at the forefront of cyberwarfare, the greatest technology challenge of our generation
* 5 days of bonus leave per year
* Company paid parental leave
* A diverse culture where we celebrate our people and their unique, individual perspectives

Our culture is a big part of who we are so, for us, it is vital that each of our people (known as Vaulter's) align to and are continuously guided by our core values.

You will collaborate to provide secure and professional cloud services to a broad range of users. Join us now and become part of the future of secure cloud services and provide a significant contribution to our nation's success.
