Opportunities Available
PIPE LAYERS
* Experience laying sewer, storm water, and water mains.
* Ability to perform manual handling and repetitive tasks with moderate to heavy lifting.
* Skilled in shooting and reducing levels using Dumpy level.
* Ability to set-up pipe laser.
* Ability to read, interpret, and understand plans and standards.
* Confined space, quick cut, front-end loader tickets (desirable).
EXCAVATOR OPERATORS
* Experience operating 20 tonne plus machines.
* Demonstrated experience with lifting operations.
* Ability to carry out deep excavations.
* Skilled in working with shoring.
* Capable of trenching, placing pipes, backfilling, and compaction.
FOREMAN
* Minimum 2 years experience as a Civil Drainage Foreman.
* Solid understanding of civil pipe principles, especially in residential subdivision works.
* Knowledge of adverse ground conditions.
* Understanding of current SEQ standards.
* Strong commitment to OHS and safe work practices.
* Effective communication skills, both written and verbal.
* Plant machinery tickets are highly regarded.
