About the Role
Based in Alice Springs, you’ll deliver client-focused social work support alongside legal services, with a focus on First Nations women. Your work will include:
o Case management and advocacy across housing, health, safety, and wellbeing
o Coordinating outreach and court support in Tennant Creek and remote communities
o Delivering community education, training and e-learning
o Supporting sector capability with audits, consultations, and service mapping
What You’ll Bring
o Tertiary qualification in Social Work and eligibility for registration
o Understanding of domestic, family and sexual violence (DFSV)
o Experience supporting women with complex needs, especially in First Nations contexts
o Excellent communication, self-care, and teamwork skills
Bonus points if you have experience in:
o Adult education, facilitation or training
o Working in regional or remote Aboriginal communities
o NT DFSV Risk Assessment & Management Framework
You’ll need or be able to obtain:
o NT Driver Licence
o Ochre Card (Working with Children)
o National Police Check
