About the role
Golder Farms are seeking a hardworking and dedicated Farm Hand to join their team in Jervois SA 5259. This is a casual position, offering the flexibility to work as needed on their family-owned farm.
What you'll be doing
1. Assisting with a variety of general farm duties, including animal care, milk harvesting and general maintenance
2. Adhering to all health, safety, and environmental regulations to ensure a safe working environment
3. Collaborating with the farm management team to identify and implement process improvements
4. Contributing to the overall success and productivity of the farm operation
What we're looking for
1. Previous experience working on a farm or in a similar agricultural setting (an advantage)
2. Strong work ethic
3. Ability to work independently and as part of a team
4. Strong problem-solving and decision-making skills
5. Willingness to work flexible hours, including weekends and public holidays
6. Commitment to maintaining high standards of safety and quality
7. Must have Australian work rights to be eligible for this position
8. Moderate level of physical fitness required to perform manual labour tasks in various weather conditions
