About the Role
An initial 6‑month full‑time contract with on‑going extensions. General welding, boilermaking and metal fabrication duties for Council assets. Previous Council experience is not mandatory.
Duties
* Conduct fabrication and welding of metals for Council assets
* Thorough inspections and perform repairs as required
* Operation of a variety of fabrication equipment
* Collaborating with stakeholders across Council
Skills & Experience
* Strong experience in welding and metal fabrication
* Experience with Local Council (not mandatory but highly regarded)
* Experience working within a team (not only self‑employed)
* Working knowledge of WHS procedures
Remuneration
* $55 p/h + Superannuation
