Who we're looking for:
* From a trade and/or consultative retail sales background (highly regarded)
* A strong communicator who can ask the right questions, listen, understand customer needs, and explain options and add-ons clearly
* Customers first → you care about the right outcome and build your reputation as a trusted Sydney Tools specialist
* Sales driven → you enjoy the challenge of beating and overachieving targets
* Well-presented with a clean, professional appearance at all times
* Reliable with consistent attendance and strong timekeeping
* A team player who supports the store and contributes to a positive culture
* Tech capable → comfortable learning and using computers daily
* Keen to learn → you take feedback well and use it to continually improve
What you'll be doing
* Consulting with customers to match tools, accessories, and solutions to their trade needs
* Asking quality questions (business type, job type, projects, team, urgency, budget, experience level, brand preference)
* Building bigger baskets by recommending the right kits, add-ons, and upgrades
* Staying across deals and promos to deliver great value and service
* Maintaining your aisle: pricing, stock presentation, inventory, and display standards
* Completing training to become a trusted product expert
Roster
* Structured 11-day fortnight roster, including one rostered weekend day each week
