Patient Transport Nurse

The role
The Patient Transport Service provides non-emergency, low and selective medium acuity transport for MBPH patients to access specialty appointments, provide timely discharge transport and transport to hospitals within the Northern Mallee.
The Patient Transport Nurse performs duties with the support and guidance of the Department Manager, Clinical Nurse, Team and Shift Leaders to ensure a high level of quality patient care is delivered in line with the core values and the strategic direction of the hospital.
To be successful in this role, you will have:
* Relevant registration with the Australian Health Practitioner Regulation Agency (Registered Nurse or Enrolled Nurse)
* Proven ability to work effectively in team environment and independently as required
* Knowledge of legislative requirements in relation to nursing practice
* Effective communication and interpersonal skills
