About the role
Tickalara Farms is seeking a talented Turf Farmer / Tractor Operator to join our team based in Singleton, NSW. In this full-time role, you will be assisting with the day-to-day operations of our turf farm, operating a range of agricultural machinery.
What you'll be doing
* Operating a variety of farm equipment, including tractors, mowers, and other specialised machinery
* Operate our specialised Automatic Turf Harvester
* Assisting in different farm duties like spraying, weeding, farm & equipment maintenance etc.
What we're looking for
* Preferred but not essential experience in a similar role, working on a commercial turf farm or in a related agricultural setting
* Proficiency in operating a range of basic farm equipment, including tractors, mowers & RTV
* Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to work independently or as part of a team
* A keen eye for detail and a commitment to maintaining high standards of quality
* A valid driver's licence and the ability to obtain any necessary licences or certifications
* A passion for the agricultural industry and a desire to contribute to the success of our business

Tickalara Farms is a production farm for its sister company's Green Life Turf & Musturf, in which supply turf to Residential, Trade & Commercial customer across Sydney and Hunter regions. We have built a reputation on providing our customer with a consistent supply of high-quality turf.
