Head of Practice Leader
Deliver Exceptional Disability Services and Lead with Purpose
This is a rare opportunity for an experienced senior leader to champion excellence in disability services. The ideal candidate will have extensive knowledge of complex autism and developmental delay, as well as comprehensive understanding of NDIS and DCP frameworks and standards.
The Head of Practice will lead a dedicated team to oversee the operational delivery of individualised living options, respite, and community participation services, ensuring compliance, quality outcomes, and alignment with NDIS practice standards.
Key Responsibilities:
* Contribute to strategic engagement for the organisation.
* Oversee programs with a focus on compliance and quality.
* Coordinate successful audits and assessments.
* Establish, monitor, measure, and report on key criteria.
* Report on performance and areas for improvement.
* Foster proactive communication with internal and external stakeholders to ensure transparency, alignment, and ongoing engagement with organisational progress and priorities.
* Lead and develop teams and individuals to foster a positive, culturally safe, high-performance, and participant-focused culture.
Requirements:
* Extensive experience/knowledge of complex autism and developmental delay.
* Comprehensive knowledge of NDIS and DCP frameworks and standards.
* Tertiary qualifications relevant to the role (minimum degree in disability, health, or community services).
* Minimum 3 years of experience in a similar role, managing supported independent living, respite services, and community programs.
* Proven success in direct management of culturally diverse teams.
* Eligibility to work in Australia.
* Both an NDIS Worker Check (NDISWC) and a Working with Children Check (WWCC).
* A full and unencumbered driver's licence.
* National Police Clearance.
* A successful pre-employment medical assessment.
