About the role
We are seeking an experienced and qualified Painter to join our growing team at McPherson Painting Pty Ltd in Melbourne, VIC. This is a full-time position where you will be responsible for providing high-quality painting services to our diverse range of commercial and residential clients.
What you'll be doing
* Preparing and painting interior and exterior surfaces using a variety of techniques and materials
* Completing all painting tasks to an exceptional standard, ensuring customer satisfaction
* Applying paints, varnishes and stains to surfaces using brushes, rollers and spray
* Operating painting equipment safely and effectively
* Providing advice to clients on paint selection, colour schemes and application methods
* Collaborating with the project management team to ensure timely completion of projects
* Maintaining a clean and organised work environment
* Adhering to all health, safety and quality standards
What we're looking for
* Proven experience as a qualified Painter, with at least 1 year in a similar role
* Strong technical knowledge of painting techniques, materials and equipment
* Excellent attention to detail and a commitment to delivering high-quality work
* Good communication and customer service skills
* Ability to work independently and as part of a team
* Competent in reading and interpreting job specifications and plans
* Knowledge of relevant health and safety regulations
