The Organisation
Working with a well‐known organisation in a collaborative team environment; our client is seeking a skilled payroll officer to join their team on a contractual basis based in Melbourne's South East. The role is seeking a highly skilled individual who has the ability to hit the ground running.
The Responsibilities
The duties of the role will include the following, but not be limited to:
* Processing a high volume fortnightly and monthly payroll
* Interpretation and application of various EBAs & awards
* Prepare and lodge payroll tax and superannuation
* Processing new starters, terminations and payroll adjustments
* Providing accurate information in response to employee queries
* Other ad hoc related tasks
The Ideal Candidate
The successful candidate will possess the following attributes, however will not be limited to:
* Has prior experience processing end to end payroll
* Can start immediately
* Ability to interpret different EBA's
* Strong attention to details
* Clear written and verbal communication
