Forest Management Branch has four main programs: Forest Assessment and Monitoring, Systems and Decision Support, Forest Operations Planning and Disturbance Approval System (DAS).We are currently seeking Disease Assessment Coordinators to join our team.This role:Undertakes and supervises plant disease interpretation and detailed mapping projects according to the Branch works program.Ensures the annual Phytophthora dieback interpretation target is achieved on time and in order of priority, through liaison with all clients. Co-ordinates priorities in conjunction with Works and Training Coordinator.Undertakes and supervises the field survey and measurement of native vegetation and forest attributes to support the planning and management of forest ecosystems.Undertakes and supervises analysis of interpretation and inventory data, and the production of summaries, reports and maps of surveys and field assessments.At DBCA, we have adopted Leadership Expectations which provides a common understanding of the mindsets and expected behaviours required of all our employees and the public sector.
