The Shift Leader plays a pivotal role in leading the team during specific shifts, fostering motivation and engagement among staff members, and ensuring adherence to food safety and quality standards. This individual will oversee peak service periods, train crew members, and work towards enhancing guest satisfaction.
To succeed as a Shift Leader, you should possess:
* Proven experience in leading or supervising a team in a high-pressure environment
* A track record of delivering outstanding customer service
* A willingness to complete Food Safety Supervisor certification
* A willingness to undertake the Responsible Service of Alcohol course
Key qualifications include:
* Completion (or willingness to complete) of the Food Safety Supervisor course
* Completion (or willingness to complete) of the Responsible Service of Alcohol course
* Demonstrated supervisory/management experience in hospitality
* Excellent communication skills
* A strong command of the English language
* An understanding of operational and financial reports
