We are seeking an enthusiastic and suitably experienced person for the role of Portfolio Support Officer.
This is a Permanent Full Time appointment.
As part of the Health Support Services (HSS) Program Delivery Business Unit, the Portfolio Support Officer is responsible for:
1. Ensuring the application of a systematic management framework to define and deliver the customer driven ICT portfolio of complex, multi-million dollar programmes and/or projects to enable the fulfilment of system-wide WA Health strategic objectives.
2. Contributing to the implementation and management of the capacity planning function for the delivery of ICT projects across the entire WA Health system.
3. Providing specialist advice regarding the initiation and management of complex, multi-million-dollar ICT projects and contracts for services to the WA Health system to ensure they comply with agreed outcomes, deliverables, timelines and costs.
4. Developing solutions to complicated problems relating to portfolio control, project and program resources and financial management.
5. Providing specialist advice and consultation services to project and program managers, especially regarding risks, issues and dependencies to find solutions to keep the portfolio healthy.
