About the role:
Work in a role that will support the Director of the service, the role will be tailored to suit your interests and strength areas, along with the services needs.
This could be a focus area of WHS, compliance, programming, community, inclusion, team building, managing others, or other areas.
* Foster a positive environment, ensuring adherence to policies.
* Ensure NQF regulations are met, maintaining accurate records.
* Build strong communication with parents and caregivers.
* Implement protocols for a secure environment.
* Assist in providing ongoing professional growth for the team.
* Assist in managing resources effectively.
* Drive enhancements for overall quality.
Essential Requirements:
* Experience in OSHC or Early Childhood Education and an understanding of play based programs / experiences.
* QikKids knowledge is desirable.
* A strong understanding of the National Quality Framework (NQF), Quality Standards, National Law and Regulations.
* A cooperative approach to working with stakeholders, management and educators.
* A warm and friendly personality that is passionate and has a genuine love for working with children.
* CHCPRT001/025: Identify and respond to children and young people at risk - Accredited Child Protection (or willing to obtain, 1 day course).
* HLTAID012: Provide an emergency first aid response in an education and care setting (or willing to obtain, 1 day course).

About the OSHC Service
* Own dedicated space within school grounds.
* Operates BS, AS and VAC.
* Current attendance sits around 70 children for the morning, 165 children for the afternoon and 110 for vacation care.
* Always looking to continuously improve with reflection, with processes changing to suit the current needs of the service. Utilise a lot of digital items
* Has a positive school community who value and understand OSHC and how vital and important the service is.
* The service is always well respected on their needs and is a partner with the school community.
* Supportive P&C, NFP service - they are a stand alone service meaning the operations are at the ground level - to suit the service, the community, the children and families.
* The service has genuine child led practices – they foster an environment of inclusion, collaboration, imagination and respect.
* The service encourages children to engage in opportunities for self-discovery, environmental awareness, social and emotional growth in a safe and nurturing environment.
* The service understands and values the role of all members of the team and are supportive in ensuring to provide them with the guidance, time and resources they need.
