Doolee is a leading civil construction company based in Perth, delivering high‑quality projects across a range of sectors. Due to continued growth, we are seeking an experienced Drainer / Pipelayer to join our team on projects in the North West region.
Role Summary
Reporting to the Site Supervisor, you will be responsible for the installation, maintenance and repair of concrete and HDPE water and drainage systems in accordance with project specifications, drawings and relevant codes.
Key Responsibilities
* Perform all aspects of drainage and pipelaying works.
* Install, repair and maintain precast piping systems, including water, drainage and sewerage infrastructure.
* Operate plumbing and pipelaying tools and equipment such as reamers, threading discs, sewer tapes, pipe cutters, snakes, hand tools and relevant plant.
* Read and interpret plans, drawings, specifications and work orders to determine work requirements and sequencing.
* Carry out preventative maintenance as required.
* Maintain high standards of safety, quality and housekeeping on site.
Skills, Experience & Qualifications
* Proven experience as a Drainer / Pipelayer in civil construction.
* Strong knowledge of plumbing and drainage systems, tools, equipment and materials.
* Sound understanding of applicable plumbing codes and standards.
* Demonstrated commitment to workplace health and safety.
* Strong time management and communication skills.
* Ability to work effectively as part of a team in a FIFO environment.
Requirements
* Right to work in Australia.
* Ability to pass a pre‑employment medical and Drug & Alcohol test.
