Moriah College is seeking a passionate and experienced Inclusion Support Educator to join our Early Years Centre and support the learning, development, and wellbeing of all children. This role is ideal for an educator who is committed to inclusive practice and has a strong understanding of supporting children with additional needs in the early years.
You will work collaboratively with educators, families, and external professionals to ensure every child can access and fully participate in our educational program.
Key Responsibilities
* Support the inclusion of children with additional needs within the early years learning environment
* Develop, implement, and review individual learning and support plans
* Provide guidance, coaching, and professional support to educators on inclusive practices
* Collaborate with families, allied health professionals, and external agencies
* Observe, assess, and document children’s learning and development
* Promote a strengths-based, child-centred, and inclusive approach aligned with the Early Years Learning Framework (EYLF)
* Contribute to a safe, respectful, and inclusive Centre culture
Essential Requirements
* Experience supporting children with additional needs in an early year or educational setting
* Knowledge of relevant legislation and quality framework
* Desire and commitment to work in an Early Year Centre
* A valid Working with Children Check (WWCC) or ability to obtain one.
