Information Technology Services (ITS) Full-time, permanent position Base salary will be in the range $113,377 - $127,112 17% Superannuation (HEW Level 8) Based at our St Lucia location About This Opportunity The Senior Business Analyst plays a key role in advancing UQ’s data governance and data modelling initiatives by working closely with stakeholders, technical teams, and project staff to define business requirements, provide advice, and develop and oversee UQ's information governance models. Reporting to the Senior Manager, Data Strategy and Governance, this role also supervises the Data Governance Officer, within a collaborative environment focused on improving data governance and management across the University. Key responsibilities will include: Collaborate with stakeholders to analyse business processes, define requirements, and provide complex advice and direction on data governance practices Develop and maintain key data governance artefacts, including the information entity catalogue, information domain models and conceptual interaction models Facilitate workshops with stakeholders to develop information governance models Provide direction and oversight to solution architects and other business analysts developing data models to ensure alignment with UQ's framework Prepare key documentation to support business analysis, such as business cases, risk reviews, model reviews and issue papers Supervise the Data Governance Officer and work collaboratively with stakeholders, Integration Services, and project teams to manage changes to UQ's data models to contribute to successful project delivery About UQ As part of the UQ community, you will have the opportunity to work alongside the brightest minds, who have joined us from all over the world.
