Job Opportunity: Court Security Manager
This role presents a unique chance to lead a team in the delivery of effective and efficient court operations, ensuring compliance with contractual requirements and maintaining staff and persons in custody welfare, safety & security.
In this position, you will be responsible for inspecting and monitoring court operations, liaising with court officials, and managing resources. You will also be required to maintain emergency procedures, ensure incident reports are submitted on time, and set clear direction for direct reports.
A key aspect of this role is your ability to work collaboratively and forge productive relationships, both internally and externally. Your high level of computer skills and report writing abilities will be essential in preparing briefs, letters, emails, and reports using clear, concise language.
The successful candidate will possess a Certificate III in Corrective Practice or a related field, Control and Restraint qualification, and Senior First Aid & CPR certification. They will also have demonstrated experience in a leadership role, with a proven track record of delivering results in an escort custody operational environment.
Requirements:
* An Australian Permanent Resident or Citizen
* Ability to obtain and maintain an Australian Federal Police Check, Criminal History Check & Working with Children Check
* Manual Driving Licence - Desirable (HR, MR licence or F Extension category highly desirable for operating vehicles carrying passengers)
* Willingness to travel (road and air)
