Role Description
This is a full-time Junior Wayfinding Designer role, based on-site in our Surry Hills studio.
Wayfinding Design is a speciality that combines aspects of user experience design, graphics, communication, industrial, and interior design. In the role we will support the development of your skills across these areas. We are seeking people that are passionate about making great places and work in a collaborative style. The nature of the work requires a mix of agility –being flexible to move between projects comfortably – and attention to detail.
The Junior Wayfinding Designer will assist in creating and implementing wayfinding solutions, support project coordination, and contribute to all stages of design—concept development, visual design, and documentation. The role involves working closely with senior designers and stakeholders to ensure creative and user-focused results while meeting project goals and deadlines.
Qualifications
* Graphic design or industrial or interior design
* Proficiency in design software such as Adobe Creative Suite (Illustrator, Photoshop, InDesign, etc.)
* Strong conceptual thinking and the ability to create user-centered design solutions
* Strong organizational skills and ability to manage multiple tasks and deadlines
* Knowledge of signage systems and wayfinding principles is highly advantageous
* Excellent written and verbal communication and collaboration skills
