Job Opportunity We are seeking a skilled Senior Communications Advisor to lead strategic engagement initiatives on the Sunshine Coast. About the Role: * The successful candidate will have demonstrated experience in communications, community engagement, or public relations, ideally within government or infrastructure sectors. * They will possess exceptional written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to translate complex technical information into clear, accessible messages. * Strong relationship-building skills with a diverse range of stakeholders, including government, contractors, and community groups. * A proven ability to design and deliver strategic communication campaigns that align with project goals. * Knowledge of infrastructure or transport projects is highly regarded. * Experience with community engagement frameworks and tools, such as IAP2 Certification, is desirable. * Skills in social media management and digital content creation are essential. * An understanding of government processes and regulatory requirements is necessary. Requirements: * Tertiary qualifications in Communications, Public Relations, or a related field. * Previous experience working within or alongside government departments. * A track record of managing complex stakeholder relationships in dynamic environments.
